I was raised in many Canadian provinces and have had the privilege of seeing the great diversity this country has to offer. Moving back to Alberta has been a joy for me as much of my extended family lives here so it has always felt like home. I was raised in a large family that honored the sacred beauty of birth and a woman’s divine role and ability to do so.

Prior to the International Midwifery Preregistration Program, I received a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from Midwives College of Utah in the United States. I have also worked as a volunteer doing midwifery in the Dominican Republic.

I am the proud mother of nine beautiful children, many of which were born at home with a midwife. I am extremely thankful for the support I receive from my husband Jason and my children, as it allows me to live my love of midwifery.

I believe pregnancy and birth are a natural and exciting time in life. I feel very blessed every time I witness the miracle of birth and the transformation of a new family. I look forward to being involved in your care.
